Disclosures

ESR LONDON  may disclose your information, under strict terms of confidentiality and restriction of use, to partners of ESR LONDON who supply services on behalf of ESR LONDON and who need to process personal data in the provision of such services. When you use “ESR LONDON ” you are consenting to the disclosure of your personal information to ESR LONDON’s partners. ESR LONDON will not disclose any of your personal information to any other third parties without your express consent. However, under certain circumstances the force of law may require the provision of information to legal authorities.

Identifiable information – Your information is collected when you register or fill in a form on a ESR LONDON website, or you send an email to ESR LONDON. The information that is provided by you will only be used for the purpose for which it is provided, unless you are informed otherwise at the time of giving the information. Contact information

When you apply for a course or use one of our services, such as signing up to our email newsletter or joining one of our online communities, we will ask you to provide information such as your name, email and/or postal address so that we can provide you with the services requested.

General personal information

When applying for a course, in addition to contact information, we may collect other personal information such as your gender, date of birth, marital status, etc.

Payment details

When you pay for a course we will also ask you for your payment details in addition to your contact information, in order to secure payment and to authorise access to the course.

Third-Party identifiers

When you apply or are onboarded to one of our courses, either directly on the ESR LONDON website or through École Supérieure de Relooking  , we will collect your emergency contact details, in case of an emergency while you are with us.

Official identifiers

Profiling

We may also automatically process the information you give during applications for our short courses & workshops, so we can allocate places accordingly.

Behavioural data

When you register for a newsletter, so we can send you the right information for you, we collect data about your preferences, tastes and interests.

Special categories data

We collect data in on what is called “special categories of data”, when you apply for a course. These could be data sets such as biometric information (including voice samples, facial recognition, etc), or political opinions, religion, philosophical beliefs, health, sexual orientation, etc. It is always optional to give us this data, and we will make sure we have your consent to process it. We will remind you at the time of why and how we are processing this data and what additional safeguards are in place for using, storing and ultimately either deleting or anonymising this data.

When you apply for one of our courses, we will collect information on your previous work experience to assess your application.

  • With our parent company, École Supérieure de Relooking 
  • If all or any of our assets were to be sold to another business, the personal data relating to that asset (eg newsletter list etc) would be transferred to the new business owner.

How long do we keep datas

We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the individual service/s you have requested, while taking into account any legal requirements and tax and accounting rules.

Where you sign up to receive email newsletters from us we will retain your e-mail address after you ‘opt-out’ of receiving emails to ensure that we continue to honour and respect that request. To unsubscribe from emails at any time, please click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email and update your account preferences.

Security

This Website has security measures in place to protect against loss, misuse and alteration of your personal information under ESR LONDON’s control. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure and whilst ESR LONDON strives to protect your personal information, ESR LONDON cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk. Once ESR LONDON receives the transmission, ESR LONDON makes best efforts to ensure the security on the system.

We make sure that we have appropriate security measures to protect your information and make sure that, when we ask another organisation to provide a service for us, they have appropriate security measures and follow the same high standards of security and data protection as we do.
